In line with this, Evolution supported the Gold Industry Group Let’s Talk Diversity’ event series – known as one of the most important diversity events on Australia’s mining calendar. Held annually in Perth, Sydney and Melbourne, the debate series dissects and promotes diversity, challenges perceptions, and opens doors in a unique and thought-provoking format. The focus this year was to promote the importance of both gender diversity in mining and resources and to recognise the importance of people of all ages – from graduate level right through to board level.
Evolution was represented at the Sydney event by Group IT representative Rachael Mepham and well as Board member Vicky Binns. Fellow Board member Andrea Hall played a lead role in the Perth panel.
By celebrating and supporting a more inclusive culture we aim to remove barriers, enhance learning opportunities that offer a greater sense of belonging in order to strengthen unity and connection within and between our teams and the industry.
